I am down to a five week gap....awesome! I am laughing over here because it is quite ridiculous. But, why focus on that..... as long as I keep posting, right?

I am trying to figure out what pictures I should start with. I am having a hard time thinking back that far...lol Okay, I know, I will start with some pictures I don't believe anyone has seen yet. I spent the entire weekend with my girlfriend Lisa before she had her baby. She was so close to the due date feeling a bit bloated and I don't think she was feeling a photo shoot. We were lounging on the couch on my last day in our big girl sweats with ratty hair porkin down some ice cream when her husband reminded us we would be so disappointed if we didn't get a few pictures. He was right. She ran upstairs, combed her main (she has lovely hair) and up to the deck we went. We didn't have a lot of light time. The light was around for maybe 10 min but we managed to get ourselves some decent photos.....

Let's pretend it hasn't been 8 months and 17 days since I last posted. I'm not sure what really happened. I think I got a bit overwhelmed with the details of running a business so I put blogging to the side. The next thing you know it was two months, then three months, then four months.....you get the point, right? Anyway, I need to get the hang of this blogging thing again..... I will start fresh tomorrow morning with pictures from 8 months ago. ;-) Ok, that just made me chuckle.

late. I never got around to doing my own Christmas cards. I had really good intentions but somehow I lost them...maybe it had to do with our power being off for 11 days.... Anyway, here is the photo I was going to use and since I consider it Christmas for the rest of the year, I decided it was okay to post it today..

I thought for sure I was going to get a message saying they wanted to cancel. The weather outside was about 16 degrees....the kind of weather that you just want to curl up in your comfortable sweats, a cup of hot chocolate, a blanket and a good book. (Okay, I admit it...I would have on some cheesy reality show and a book sitting next to me in case someone walked in ;o)- Well, I never got that call so I bundled up and put on comfy winter boots, gloves and my ski hat and headed to take some fabulous pictures of two beautiful sisters. I think I succeeded... Carley and Erin were incredible sports. Not one time did I see them complaining. They took this serious...they came to have there pictures done and we did just that.

when my mom used to have birthday parties for me. I remember the games we used to play, the trees we used to climb, the yummy cake we would eat and all the awesome presents I used to get. I loved every minute of it! I miss those days....
I got relive it through Libby's birthday party. Her mom did such a great job putting this together and I know it will become one of those great memories for her just like the ones that I cherish to this day..

What a cutie! His eyes are like big dark marbles that draw you right in. He is going to melt a few hearts in his time for sure. I seem to be getting my fair share of 2yr olds lately and the one thing they all seem to have in common is that they refuse to look at me unless of course I play tricks on them. I think I had to tell Deigo there was a fish in the lens and if he looked real close he could see it. Adorable Ella below..same thing....you just have to do what you have to do to get the shot you want. I am thrilled with the outcome! Let me know what you think...
As you can see, he wasn't buying the fish in the lens story!

as the fastest 2yr old (almost 3) in the world. This shoot at Wingaersheek Beach was sooooo much fun and so exhausting all at the same time. The moment I met her, it was love at first sight. Well, at least for me it was. Ella was sleeping sound when I got in the car and then she heard my voice and I saw her open one eye looking at me like I was crazy. I know she was thinking: "If you think your going to take my picture lady, I'll show you!" And oh did she show me! I think if you would have seen me at the end of this shoot you would have had a good laugh. I know her mother did. My cloths were sopping wet, I had half the beach on my pants and my hair resembled madusa. But hey, I gotcha Ella! he he
